Awesome GC score! (Jazz content)

I walked into GC last Wednesday to kill an hour and walked out with a new 2008 Standard American Jazz for $595 with the hard case and goodies. It's my first bass....now I just need to learn how to play it?

I have the same bass. Great indeed. Very small battery compartment for some reason, but thats jut my opinion.

i went today and i got one of those new mim fender 70's jazz bass for 400$ including the gigbag. what a sweet neck on it too.

I went to the Halsted store in Chicago today. On the bass side, the only really good deal I saw was an MIA Jazz V in white/tort/rw for $799 (which is pretty darn good, since they're normally $1250). I didn't see any markdowns on EBMM stuff.

As for bass amps, the SVT-VR was knocked down to $1500, and the SVT-15E was $299. They also had the Markbass 8X10 for $450 or $500.

they had a mark bass f1 for 499 and a hot rod jazz white with matching headstock for 899

It's a 2008 MIM Deluxe. Could you imagine a MIA for under 400 new? OMG I would have peed.
