AXL Faultline 4x12

So I was browsing amazon's bass cab selection and came across the AXL Faultline 4x12 bass cab. Anyone ever heard of this or tried one? Incredibly low-cost for a 4x12 cab which at first glance would seem to indicate low-quality, but I know a couple of their bass guitars have gotten pretty decent reviews.

I'm in the market for a new cab and the local used selection is actually pretty bare. I might have to give one of these 4x12's a try.

400 bucks for a bajillion ton MDF 4x12 with bargain basement drivers? no thanks. An Avatar 2x12 would be just as loud and cheaper and half the weight.

A sparse website where this is found "all of our products are designed in the U.S.", as opposed to made in the US, indicates that AXL is an importer of probably Asian sourced goods. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it does bear keeping in mind.

Rated at 150 watts. I doubt it has bass speakers in it.

The 4 x 12" cabinet has 600 watts of output power and is equipped with Alphatone Speakers. Depends on what part of the description you read......

Hah! I'll bet they're Eminence Alphas with a woppin' 2.3 millimeters of xmax............. oh well.

Materials and factory-processing can save loads of money.

I doubt it'd work but somebody out there could make it happen.

Cabs usually don't put out watts of power they usualy comsume watts of electrical power.

I looked at Amazon last night and bought 1 of 2 cabinets left with shipping for $242.00 and thought it was it was an O.K. deal. Tonight there is one left for $518.00 with shipping. Go figure

They make passable basses for super cheapies, but basses are simpler devices than cabs.
