when again? I am going to be back in AZ for a Minute... After NAMM.
Would anyone be interested in putting a quick, small band together for this? I mentioned this before, but I'll elaborate.
I've been to other GTGs before (mostly guitar-focused, but several bass GTGs) and I strongly believe it would be a helpful addition where the bulk of attendees' time is in one setting - you, the bass and nothing else except for 12 others bassists thumping away. You obviously learn a lot about the gear brought, but you don't learn about how that gear fits into the mixture of a band.
I play guitar, but I'm sure I/w could find a decent mix of others (drums, keys, vocals, maybe a horn).
Yay or nay?
Syco - the church offer is great!, but not sure proximity to the bulk of attendees is the best solution.
