Well, there's this bar called "Izone", that's been advertising on Craig's List, for bands that want to practice outside their usual practice space, they provide a pizza, beer, and $50.00 if they play/practice for 2 hours, so the BL of my band signed us up. I don't know that we're ready to play out yet, but under that scenario, I think we'll do ok. We're signed up for April 5th, at 7:00 PM. I plan on bringing my Precision and the Reformer. So If nothing is set up with the GTG by then, you're welcome to come by and check it (and us) out. They have electronic drums, which the owner prefers us to use, but I think it should be ok.
Man would love to do something with y'all but just not enough time to plan it. Anyone out there willing to plan this?
Turns out that Izone place was a internet cafe. I stopped by there last week to check it out. I remember thinking, how does an internet cafe stay in business these days? Turns out, they don't stay in business. The gig is cancelled, as the place shut down.

So it's been over a year since anyone posted to this thread. I guess this isn't happening anytime soon 
... but it is the perfect time of year for it, now that spring training is over and before the heat gets here for good.
Would be Awesome to have a meetup. Moved to Gilbert last month from the Seattle area and would LOVE to meet some like minded, or at least weird like me, folks! If I can help with a meetup, let me know!
