Just an update. This whole thing, while thrown together, actually works.
I just need to figure out a way to hook it up in a gig ready (reliable) package.
The project kind of took a back seat, but I may pick it up again.
Here's the setup....
I hooked the B15 head up to the cab as usual. However, I unplugged the speaker and connected the dummy load right off of those cables.
Then I went from the other output on the head into a CountyMan DI and then into an Acoustic Image power amp. (I don't think that the AI is the right choice, but it was what I had available.) Then I hooked up a Bag End cab to the power amp.
That's all there is to it. Still tweaking.
Would it be possible to skip the whole dummy load thing and go from the B15 head right into the Countryman then into the power amp? I don't know if this would put the head in danger.
