B:Assmaster Owners

I just got one today and its ****ing awesome, just wondering what settings other people use it with?

Just with a little play around at pretty low volumes my favourite so far has been all knobs at 12 oclock and both switches on.

Im new here and only own a few pedals but ive been playing bass for a long time but never been able to afford good gear, so im on the quest to build an unholy pedal board to help me create the heaviest tone i can, so if you add anything to recomend for me to add to my ever growing GAS list feel free.
Ive posted a few posts here nothing that has caused much reply so i thought id formally introduce myself, you seem to have a little club going here, i dont wanna be left out ;)

My bass knob works like that... but the ass knob is ungodly loud. At 9 'oclock is adding gain. I hope it isn't broken. (The knob does crackle when turned.)

Cool story about getting it. There are a lot of sounds in that thing.

If there's static in the knob you can sometimes work it out...or spray it with some pot cleaner

All B:ASSMASTERS have the same specs BUT here are why some will be 10 and some 9 for the gain...it's simple knob attatchment. I try to get them all close to the same but some if all the way closed the pointer will be at the begining of the word, some will be further up.
An easy way to find out is to experiment with the dry (bass) setting...click on/off adjusting the knob until it is the same... you can even sharpie the lexan overlay it will stay as long as you need it. (spit and beer wont take it off but rubbing alc will...and it wont leave a stain...pretty cool)
Now that you know your bass level the ass will be the same because i put the knobs on the same per unit...go ahead and mark it.
As always feel free to write me if you need help. and i hope i didnt break any rules by posting this...sorry in advance if i did

i like the bass around unity (a little less, actually) and the ass around 9:00... the ass switch to the right and the harm switch to the left.... the sens knob somewhere between 10:00 and midnight. that's for a good, assy, and LOUD sound. i love changing things around and getting all kinds of cool and creepy sounds out of the thing. the Assmaster ROCKS!
