B.C Rich Bass I.D?

Hi everyone.
I have this Bass that was my father's since I was a kid. I'm 36 now and I thought I might restore it. I just cant find what model it is even when I try and look for it on Google images I cant see any BC Rich Bass that looks like it. Is there anyone here that might be able to shed some light. I'd love to find out some info on where it was made and types of wood used, is it real/fake etc.... There is a stamp under the neck that looks to be 1989 but that's about all I know. I cant find any info on the 4 digit serial on the neck plate either.

eBay seller is smokin-da-crack-pipe, import model, but it's definitely a nice bass.

in playable condition $650-750.

but it is way cooler than it's monetary value.

I'm a definite bc rich snob and tend to turn my nose up at bolt on neck models, but that is one of the very few bolt on's I would own.

Sneak peak. ..New life! I got rid of the horrible creamy white poly paint job. First prime is done.. it's going to end up in gunmetal grey with the back of the neck done in black. A set of Geezer EMG P&J pickups, black hardware and a nice new set of DR Black beauties in 50-110.. cant wait to hit that open E once it's done.

Finally finished it and got it all set up with Geezer butler EMG PJ set and Black DR string. The neck is finished in satin. This thing plays and sounds great! My dad is stoked with what I have done with it. :smug:
You did an awesome job on it. Despite being a Class Axe Era BCR, those are probably one of the better basses. You did some great upgrades. I love the circle logo you left. It looks really cool and is probably now a pretty great bass. So what Hair Metal band was your dad in?
