lol! yeah, loud b-stock scares me, quite honestly. when they work, i think loud amps are great. when they don't, however...they're very problematic. since you get the full warranty, i guess you're not left out to sea with it, but b-stock ampeg doesn't fill me with warm fuzzies.

i'd be iffy on such a deal. when svt classic's work well however....they are great amps.

Got one from Musiciansfriend one time - it hissed and hummed horribly no matter what I did. I sent it back immediately. If someone can't take a look at it before they send it out, how can I trust it?

Hence my post about needing to know a good amp tech. Their idea of "checking out a return" (now B-stock) is: I pusheed the butten and the little orange light came on! SHIP IT.
