B string is… flat?

Listen up, you can do the initial tune with the saddle in ANY position. The further forward it is, the less adjustment you have to intonate upwards. If you are constantly flat, detune, move the saddle all the way to the rear, and retune. You now have more adjustment than you started with.

yes! this is also what Ive been suggesting. A test to double check if the strings is intonated is to capo the 3rd or 5th fret and check tuning at the 15th/17th fret respectively. if they are not 'in tune' the saddle is in the wrong spot. Lengthing the string length/pull the saddle back (away from the nut)
