B1on firmware to G1on, possible?

This may be a silly idea, but most of mine are anyway ;)

So, I needed a compact travel practice rig for my ukes. I had tried them through the B3 and while there were plenty of useable tones, with certain patches some of the higher notes did not register. Due to this I thought I would get the G1on instead of the B1on which may react better to those high notes.

To cut a long story short, the G1on has exactly the same issues on some patches as the B3.

Now, my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong) is that the hardware of the G1on and the B1on is identical. If this is the case, would it be possible to flash the B1on firmware into the G1on, giving me the bass effects?

Just to mention, you cant just upload it as the update program says "ilegal device connected" when trying to send the B1on firmware to the G1on.

I don't know if there is a way around this.
Look here (my modified firmware for Zoom G1ON):
Updated firmware and drums G1Xon
I edited G1on firmware and added bass amps for my Zoom G1on.
And I have Guitar and bass amps in my G1on for now:)

I just used the zoom effects maneger #2 and converted to a b1 firmware ver 1.3 with a few clicks and a reboot. Hope it helps:

Overview

I am loading the default effects and the extras from the good stuff now.
