that is so wierd!!! i heard that best buy,etc. was starting to sell real quality instruments a while back,but i forgot,thanks for reminding me.

idk about you guys though,but the closest best buy to me still only sells crappy starter guitars(fender's second knock off line,"starcaster",which is like squier Jr.)and no basses at all.

For instance: doubling amp power only nets you 3db of increased spl (sound pressure level). For one stack to sound twice as lound as another identical stack, 10X power is reqiured!
