BA115 disassembly hints?

My BA115's CD input started making horrible death noises so I'd like to get in there and check solder connections. Problem is, I can't figure out how to pull the amp off the cabinet. I've pulled the 6 machine screws, 3 on each side, and that's loosened it up a little but it feels like it's stuck with a giant slab of double-sided tape. Is there a secret fastener or chant I need to say?

I used to own one and had to replace the fuse. It is a REALLY tight fit because of the tolex covering. Pull very hard to get it out.

Be careful! Those screws will cross thread real easy and break off. I've got a BA115HP thats useless right now because of that...

WOW....man am I lucky I read this thread then. I have a 115HP that I love dearly that I was just about to take apart this weekend. It's started buzzing whenever I play lower notes and I think the buzzing is due to a blown speaker or loose screw somewhere. Its super annoying though and just tightening the external screws hasn't done anything. Any suggestions that don't involve taking apart and possibly ruining my amp?

Take the grill off and check the speaker itself, it might be loose or have a loose dust cover.

My first BA115HPT had this problem in less than 1 year of me owning it. I think it is a common issue with this series. I removed the preamp and checked but there was nothing loose and nothing I could see wrong. I had it repaired under warranty but the problem came back within a week. So they replaced it for me with a new BA115HPT. The problem wasn't there but eventually the buzzing started to sneak back into this amp as well but not as loud as the older one I had. I tried turning the compression driver off with the level control on the back and I don't get any buzzing, only when its above half way on, it's noticable.
