BA210....smokin' RIP What to replace with?

strictly for a solo home practice a hotone nano legacy thunder might be enough. and it's dirt cheap.

yeah, it's only a 5W head and that's not much. but I'm sometimes using a 10W head for solo practice or with a cajon and unamplified vocals. sometimes that's enough.
Will this produce enough lows to feel it in the floor? I am thinking it is all midrange at that 5 watt power level.

I have played that amp and it kicks butt. A little too much $ for just a home practice amp though.
For years I practiced at home with a 1250 watt stereo power amp…….turned down very low of course. I also wasn’t living with neighbors upstairs or downstairs, not to mention room in the house with an easy load in/out to move performance gear.

Now a days I use a Digitec BR3500 and a set of headphones.

well, the scale is logaritmic there, and a 5w amp is 'only' twice quiter than a 50w one. and a 500w is 'only twice' louder than a 50w one.

on one hand, it's pretty common for 'practice amps' to come in sub-100W and typically their weak point is speaker.

on other, if you want it to be loud and floor-shaking, you'd better spend more money on an Elf, for example.

I do not want to be loud. I just do not want a head that can't push the speaker or to put it another way is all mids and highs. I have a Precison and like the low thump.
