Babylon Basses

Does anyone have info on these basses?

I recently found a 5 string neck-through at a local pawn shop and i´m thinking of buying it but I have not found a single piece of information on this ¨brand¨ or ¨model¨

Old, old thread, but might be useful for someone doing a search.

The bassist in my band uses a 4-string Babylon bass; he's had it for at least 15 or 20 years and it's the only bass he has. I asked him about it and he told me it was a low-end series from a relatively cheap and unknown brand, but as most low-end stuff, some basses were duds and some turned out to be were pretty good. He got one of the pretty good ones. And it does sound pretty good. I don't have much to compare it against, but it is a truckload fatter than my Squier VM Jazz. I'm pretty sure he'll keep it for life.
