Backing Tracks (listening and recording) during recording

So, there should be an easy answer but I cannot seem to find it.

I'm recording my bass ... output from the bass to a DI box ... output from the DI box to a 2x2 USB interface. Also, the thru line from the DI box to my amp ... and a mic on the amp ... mic also feeds the 2x2 USB box. So I have 2 signals in to the 2x2 that head off to the PC.

Typically when I play, I run backing tracks or drum beats from an android phone to a bluetooth speaker sitting next to my amp. If I do this while recording, the mic while pick it up and that signal will not be "bass only".

How how how to listen to the backing track and record the backing track without using the bluetooth speaker?

I could run the backing track into my amp but then it would be mic'ed. I can record the backing track and add it separately to the PC mix. I could run headphones from the PC but maybe there will be latency.

How do you listen to backing tracks while recording and keep clean signals?

Why don't you import the backing track into your recording software in advance and listen with headphones.

I play the backing track through the PC.

The last time, I imported the MP3 into Audacity and recorded to another track.

No.
latency is a factor of the A/D conversion on the sample/record side.
Many interfaces use a direct (i.e. - upstream from sampling) connection from the input to the monitor.
