Backtracking live

Hello
I need some advice, please.
I play guitar in a band without a drummer. We use Moises to send the drum track to the mixing board from a PC.

We also use the lyrics playback feature in Moises.
I would now like to be able to start the drum track and subsequent tracks using a footswitch and to be able to sync the beginning of the track to the first kick drum (when there's a guitar intro, for example).
I would still like to be able to play the lyrics automatically, like with Moises.
In your opinion, what free or paid app could do this from a WAV export from Moises, or is there an app like Moises but that allows precise positioning of the start point and has footswitch control and lyrics playback?
Thanks in advance.
I had a working “midi duo” for 20 years.
All of my syncing including starts/stops were done with a foot switch that generated a midi event. Does your system accept midi signals?
FYI we went back to an acoustic duo when band started using .wav files or actual karaoke backing tracks. Our self made midi tracks weren’t record perfect, but they were “recorded” by the people playing the gig.

I’ve been using tracks in large scale production events for 25+ years. Many times it’s just for accompany parts and sometimes just a click to keep the band tempo consistent. Having used various uber complex setups, what’s worked the best and is what we’ve been using for the last 12 years is simply running everything off a dedicated iPhone. Right track goes to the in ears, Left track goes to the audience. Each track is sent to its own channel at the mixing board. The happy path is I click ‘Play’ at the beginning fo the set and all the tracks run end to end - no stopping. If we need to stop to make an announcement, I simply press ‘Pause’. I have the iPhone on a stand connected to my mic stand and hard wired to the mixer. Like I said, we’ve run this at many festivals, arena’s, large events, etc. It’s 100% rock solid and simple.

Pro tip - the cell connectivity can be bad in many venues draining the iphone battery kind of quick. Put the iphone on Airplane mode and the battery will last for days.

What software do you use?

For now, I'm starting with the StageTrackerPro app.
It's fairly simple, but not ideal with my Boss FS1 pedal.
There aren't many options for Windows and Android.

What app are you using?
We’ve been using Livetraker and/or Stagetrax4 on a Mac laptop with my tribute band. Been looking at Ableton, but it’s a complicated setup.
Seeking a simpler setup as we have tracks for each instrument - in case the musicians are unavailable or booked elsewhere.

Ableton seems more complicated and less user-friendly to me.
I really liked LiveTracker, although it's a bit pricey.
I might go back to it if StageTrackerPro doesn't work out.

I just use the Apple Music app. But, I’m not mixing tracks per show.

Agreed on both Ableton and Livetraker.
The big issue I want to resolve is not having to mute/unmute an instrument in every song in a 90-120 set. Ableton let's you do that as long it's configured as one long "song". Livetraker, GarageBand, Stagetrax4 don't have that feature per se. Workarounds are assigning each track to their own output then muting the output..

We use Ableton for ours. Originally I was using Reaper with a script to allow for a better live playlist, but I've now gone to Ableton to use Ableset.

In both, you can control where each track gets sent for output, so you can send all bass tracks/parts to the Bass output, keys/strings to their own output, etc. I have made sure that we recorded each part, so that we have references for our members at rehearsal in case someone can't make it. We can unmute their track on the X32 to get their parts played.

I could probably make a video on how I handle both our reaper and ableton setups. We still use reaper for individual practice at home.

I use Gig Performer for all of my live vst keys and live "one shot" samples and triggers. Not actual backing tracks.
And GP gets the job done!!!!!!
