bad ass II problems

any one who has a bad ass II bridge , do your strings make little slots in the saddles. because mine did and wore allthe way though and now my bass is unusable. has this ever happened to anyone else? what kind of other bridge should i get thats a fender replacement

this should be a question in the set-up and repair forum ....

of course you will have slots in your BAII bridge saddles - you are supposed to have them slotted to set the string spacing. Go to the company website and read the FAQ - it clearly recommends that the bridge should be installed by a professional and that the saddles should be properly slotted ... the slotting should be done with a properly sized round file that closely matches the actual string diameter

all the best,

R

Are you saying the strings wore all the way thru the saddle? I have 4 BA bridges some for almost 30 years ands have never seen anything like this.
