Has anyone modded their own Bad Monkey, or have schematics on modding a Bad Monkey, for more low end?

    Thanks! p5

I have a Badder Monkey and love it. Only couple caps to change for bass:
    C11 .22uf to a 1uf for the bass
    optional
C5 .047uf to .1uf or .22uf for even less mids

I have the Humphrey modified Bad Monkey for bass, and it's a very darn nice pedal. Gives me a very tasty over-driven tube sound. Not fuzz - not distortion - but the best overdrive sound I've heard.

Not only that, I bought the pedal on Ebay - discovered it was his modified guitar version - emailed him - and he volunteered to modify it to the bass version at NO CHARGE!! I paid shipping - he got it back to me in two weeks. I can't say enough good things about him.

This is the ONLY change for the Humphery mod?

  10. If they are the only mods, I find it pretty hard to grasp how Humphrey can warrant that huge mark up in price :ninja:.

the BadMonkey is a TubeScreamer-Clone with an added Tonestack.
So you can apply all the mods you find in the web.

    Few are:
changing input/outputcaps (as mentioned) and the clippingdiods
    adding a wet/dry mix
    ....
