Badass Bridge II questions/noobie

I've got a couple of highway one j basses that came with BA bridges. They are OK as bridges go, but I wouldn't buy one to put on a bass unless I could get one for less than the price of a Fender vintage bridge.

I used to love a badass. Then I learned and my ears became more attuned to the nuances over the years. Cintered zinc is dense but not resonant. The break angle is too shallow. The saddle screws seize in the threads, due to electrolysis.
The tonal change is toward the bright side and tends towards a scooped tone.
It's attraction is mostly mystique.

JMO and it's a personal preference but after putting them on all my basses I completely dislike them and have since removed them.
Standard or Gotoh bent bridges on my P's and J's. No problem with intonation, sustain or sound.. IMO seeing a BA bridge on a bass deducts from the value.
