Badass Bridge, would it fit my bass?

So I'm a dedicated V player, my dream bass is the Gibson Korina V bass.....but until then I have been modifying my 2 dean V metalman basses. Does anyone know if I could use a Badass Bridge on my metalman? I scoured the net and can't find anything. Thanks.

Probably would but I would guess it would be some work. Better idea I would think is the Hipshot bridge (I forget the exact model name, I'm sure someone else will tell you what it is) made specifically to replace Gibson/Epiphone bass bridges. It's a direct fit drop in and supposedly, from those that have it, it's a good quality bridge.

Looking at pics, the metalman seems to use a standard Fender sized bridge. I don't see why it shouldn't work, as long as the holes match up.

Even if they don't match up you can fill the old holes with glue+tootpicks & drill new ones. or leave the old holes in case you ever switch back to the original bridge. Give yourself a margin to be able to slide your new saddles in either direction.

Yes it'll fit ok. As Chuck mentioned, if screw holes dont line up for all of them. Fill and then drill new starter hole for ones needing that.

If you do eventually get a gibson V bass, the hipshot protone replacement would be best upgrade for it imo. Cause those use diff type installation into body.

keep in mind, if you do find a gibson flying V bass, i'm pretty sure they're short scale like the SG basses ("EB-0"), and also probably lightweight mahogany.

that makes them pretty useless for down-tuned metal playing, as the piano clarity just isn't there.
