Just to further complicate your decision making process..here is the the powered version of the S-15N. Another great product from Bag End.View attachment 3149865
This kind of finish has been used on pro audio cabs for a couple of decades. It’s tough and can be repaired more easily than tolex or rat fur. Only thing that surprises me is that Bag End building all the pro audio stuff they do took so long to start using it.I had this exact conversation with Bag End. They’re confident in the Nebula finish durability.. they did their research.

They won’t interlock like the deep red cabs..maybe if you removed the corner protection from deep red they will stackhmmm...without corner protectors, will I have a problem stacking the S15D with the Nebula finish on top of the the deep red S15 I have?
Anyone ran an s15 stack with a Quilter Bb800?
I can only imagine from separate experiences with both that this combo has a LOT of potential.
That low end roll-off point is something a lot of people like about these cabs. Not that surprising when you look at how many amps have onboard high pass filtering and the increasing popularity of HPF stompboxes.I was just looking at the specs on these..was surprised to see the low end is rated at 46 Hz..
Other cabs are out there that are rated as going lower..
kind of surprised

All the plugs on the back are parallel so it should work. If it doesn't the plug in question probably isn't working. On my last one only the 1/4" worked and it's not a super straightforward fix so I just lived with it.yup...thats sort of what came to mind to me when i saw that.
So the new cab i ordered has neutrik connectors. the deep red i already have has 1/4" and bananna plugs...its an old one from around 1998 probably.
I can go neutrik out from the amp, to neutrik in on the new cab, than 1/4" out from the new cab to 1/4" in on the old cab right? Trying to avoid buying a new jack plate.
