I dont use BE for my bass rig. However, I do use them for my PA. I have a pair of S18's and a a pair of TA2000's all controlled by the ELFM-2. Thier cabs are built like tanks. NTM that they sound fantastic. For all the BE bass rig guys, check out thier PA gear. It really is fantastic.

So.. an update of my experiences. After having bought it and tried it I never thought bass could sound so sweet. ;) Punchy... straight.. man.. I'm never going to sell this one.

Off course this is a metaphore, like the first poll option.

Anyway... about the replaced speakers: three of four speakers are replaced (original BE speakers) and also the coaxial tweeter is replaced. The housing itself has seen allmost every stage in Holland (Yeah.. I know...Holland is small, but stil..) so it has a history of its own. Nontheless cool.

It's the shallow version of the Q10BX-D (so the Q10X-D). The owner told me the deep version 'cannoneers' allmost too much bass in the room and this one has a perfect balance.

i voted for never play anything else but of course i would (and do)
i never played thru a bagend i didnt like - hell, iv'e even played bass through a ta-12 monitor and it sounded like god.....
no question, they are excellent cabinets and one of the best kept secrets around

My bud plays that 410 powered by a Trace Elliot AH600. His main bass is a Modulus Genesis 5. He has one of the best tones I have ever heard. That thing just barks and growls like very few I have ever heard. Of course he is a very good player, which does help I'm sure, but something about his sound is just magical.

and they were fantastic. If you closed your eyes you would never dream it was a 15" cab, if you have heard all the stereotypes; it was quick, tight, accurate, deep, punchy, just fantastic. And small and light.

That being said, I found their 4x10" cabs a little lacking in the bottom end department. But they have so many versions, I am not sure if that'd the one you're getting. Fabulous speakers, though, and if you want an amazing stadium rig, put a 15" or an 18" on the bottome of that cab and biamp it properly with a big f****** poweramp and you'll have a killer system.

Cheers,
Cameron
