Now that I know your looking for home use around 40 watts, I think you may be able to get this done.
FWIW, I'm currently in the process of modifying an Epiphone valve jr. I put in the EQ circuit from the ampeg SB12 (bass & treble) and as an underpowered tube amp it sounds great.
With my most efficient cab, it's almost loud enough.
Waiting on some parts in the mail to add a 2x300 watt class D board for louder.
