nice one. i really like bandcamp... their philosophy and platform are both totally on point.

Bandcamp is pretty much the savior of recorded music right now. I actually sell mostly physical releases through them, CDs & tapes. They are making money and we are making money. It is the way things should be in all of life. I am only getting a small portion of my income from recordings, enough to make a difference, but, I also can make albums without taking a loss, which is huge.

It's great to see that the writers for bandcamp are paying attention to improvised music as so many improvising musicians are getting their music out there through this platform. Nice article!
