Bands no one has heard of

I had a little freakout at practice tonight...I was noodling quietly between songs, not paying much attention to what I was playing...suddenly the drummer was all like "cool! Toxic Popsickle!" and indeed I had played a riff from Toxic Popsickle which was Robert Sledge's old band before he met and joined Ben Folds Five. It was the opening riff from "In My Room". If you look reeeealy hard ypu moght still find their demo on myspace or something.

Zwan, this band included Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin of Smashing Pumpkins fame but the band kinda imploded after one album. That one album is one of my favorites of all time however

Didn't like it, plus i saw them live once an almost died. Turns out if you put a lot of SP fans in a small venue (especially then since that was the first thing Corgan did after the breakup) you'll get trampled to death when they all try to rush the ****ing stage. then i spent the next two hours just trying to breathe as I was crushed with absolutely no way to move between all those morons. Needless to say, worst show ever.

Bass Drum of Death

And this is just the stuff I have on my Ipod

Sorry bro. I graduated with a bachelor's in 87 and Gang Green, Jerry's Kids, The Freeze, etc were on the turntable. How about a thread called "Albums No One Has Heard?" You better not list "This Is Boston, Not LA." :D Our band's lead singer had a cousin in the Freeze. We imposed that stuff on the whole house.

How about Agent Orange?

Some have heard of the Dead Kennedy's.

On the Industrial 90's side, how about Circle of Dust, Mortal, Argyle Park, and Fold Zandura?

:D
