has anyone tried using a barber directdrive SS with a bass guitar ?

(haven't seen any bassist reviews on this pedal yet, so that's why i'm asking here)

my main concern... is there too much low-end/mid-lows loss with this pedal ? (even after tweaking a bit the internal "bass" trimpot, that is)
