hey Guys, I know there is a lot of you that love Barber Stuff and maybe somebody can help me: I´d like to know how does the Direct Drive sounds on bass, does anyone had experienced the DD on bass? I e-mailed Barber but got no reply. I have posted another thread about it but nobody had a good answer. I am between the LTD (classic) and the DD, but here in Brazil I have no chance to experience them, so I´d like to know your opinion before ordering it.

I have a Direct Drive (which I love for guitar) but it does not have the booty for bass. I even did the bass contour mod, but still no dice. The Fulltone Bassdrive is still my #1 for bass overdrive/distortion. I'm looking forward to fuzzing out with the Trifecta though!

you mean the screws on the sides of the knobs? yeah... they kinda look like that... i think it's more the lighting than anything else.

Thanks for the update. Would love to hear some on bass of course, or if someone could chime in on how the tonebender sound in the clips might compare to the original, that'd be cool too.

Basically I'm interested in this for a "tonebender that doesn't require any mods to modernize it, the other stuff is icing on the cake" pedal.
