Barefaced two10 or aguilar db210

Hey guys,

it is clear that the barefaced 210 is the clear quality winner on this case. But the aguilars db 210 isn't slacking too much behind.

I could get the aguilar db210 (with cover) and tonehammer 350 for 735£ shipping included.

The barefaced two10 costs 599£ (+40£ cloth grill +cca 50£ for the cab cover).

Aguilar has a tweeter while barefaced doesn't. Aggie goes much higher but the bf 210 goes deeper.

Bf210 is also quite significantly louder but aggies 350w aren't bad either. I am mostly looking to cover smaller gigs with this equipment (see my sig) but the bf210 would probably be able to cover much larger gigs as expected too. On the other hand I have no doubt that the db210 could almost do the same but not quite.

So db210 350w rms or bf 210 500w rms.

What would you buy?

I know.
But, the problem is that bf210 comes without a tweeter and I need one for certain gigs that I play. Would be a shame if I would have to drag my big twin 2 to small gigs just because I need a tweeter.

The Two10 has a different design goal which doesn't include the tweeter. If that's what you want then this is the wrong cab. If you need a tweeter get a BB2 or SM instead.

Exactly Chris! Sparkl, email us and I'll let you know which is the best Barefaced cab fit for your needs. The best full-range "modern sounding" tweetered 2x10" we make is the Big Baby 2. But it has a single 12" instead because that works better and is louder than two tens.

Ive had both and still have the db210. Sounds great on anything, super versatile, always with good grunty thickness.
