bartolini for my sterling sub?

Im looking to get a new pickup for my musicman sterling sub and I was thinking about a bartolini . Which one would fit in my sterling and what type of sound would it get me? Im looking for a flea bass type of growl.

also which aguilar preamp would go in my fender deluxe active p special?

That stock pickup is Flea growl.

It's not a cheap imitation.

I believe the Quad-coil switchable p/u is the right one for a sterling. You do have the coil splitter switch on the SUB, right?

I would call the store(s) to make sure it's the correct one. THe standard MM stingray 4 pickup is non-switchable.

i won't go with bartonlini if you want a flea sound.

Bartonlini is good pickup but not for the right sound in my opinion.

nope bart would not be the right pickup. I suggest APC who makes a lane poor clone. I am just about to make a thread based on this.
