Bartolini Pickup Help

Hey guys I have an old p-bass that has been routed out to house a Bartolini MM style pickup. I bought this bass used because it was an awesome price, but I am having some wiring trouble. Anytime you switch the bass to active it buzzes horribly, and it's not much better in passive mode. It is the MMC pickup and the TBT tone circuit. I can't seem to find a proper schematic anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find one or can any of you all help me out?
