Then again: it is a Peavey. You could throw one of those in a lake, let it sink to the bottom, leave it for 10 years, retreive it back from the lake, dry the pickups and the bass will play.

HA! I opened this thread mainly because I wanted to post a reply like this one! Also, I like the mailbox post comment - it's heavy-duty enough to make a great mailbox post.

So this morning I Was walking in front of my apartment building and noticed that one of my neighbors had left a Peavy 4 string bass just standing on the decking outside his front door, along with some videogame equipment.
