I am looking for a decent lightweight bass combo or head and combo. I am especially intrigued by the Markbass products. I play a Hartke kickback 12 now which sounds okay when dialed in properly but now I want a better sounding and louder amp. I mainly play an american fender jazz bass and play in 2 bands..one alt.country, the other dark gothic rock. a fulltone bass drive is the only pedal i use. Tone is everything to me and lightweight is essential. I am wondering in regards to the markbass stuff the pro's and cons of 2x10 vs 1x12. i'm pretty sure the 1x12 combo is lighter but how is the sound different.
