My chain is Mike Lull P4->PF-50T DI->Audio Interface->Plugins.
1st I'm in love with Ampeg.
You will get much better results by adding a DI or preamp (PF-50T, REDDI, ect..), or even a Barber Linden EQ.
Unrealistic and unusable plugins (for me) are Helix Native and Bias Amp 2.
Wall of Sound was nice but at the time I did not take time enough to try it thoroughly.
Amplitube I love their Acoustic 360. It's sound very nice and natural. You can add another track with a SVX SVT VR for the mids for example.
Sounds so nice i'm now looking into the Dicosimo Acoustic 360 preamp pedal.
I bought 2 weeks ago the Plugin Alliance SVT-VR for sale at EUR 50,00 (instead of 150 they have discount from time to time); you can try it free for 15 days, it's by far the best SVT bass plugin I've tried. It is exactly the same plugins as the UAD plugins, but for non UAD users.
The power gain/power soak is a cool feature, lots of cabinet/mic to choose from, but as far as I know you cannot import your own IR (unlike Amplitube).
Please take the time to download and try for 15 days free their SVT-VR or Ampeg B-15.
I'm thinking to get their B-15.
