At that price, you're looking at a small combo no matter what. The key feature I would look for is a DI output. That will connect you to the PA system (hopefully your church has a decent one) and then your playing can get mixed in with the rest of the worship musicians at a decent level. Otherwise, it really depends on the church; there are some that play contemporary worship music at rock concert volume, where a small combo won't cut it (but those are more likely to have a big PA). Most small churches, though, a small combo will keep up just fine. Personally, my main gigging combo is a GK MB210, but I also have a little Blackstar with a 10" speaker which can do the trick.
