Double Bass Bass Band Repiar

Hi Guys,
I have the Bass Band by Headway. The velcro started coming unstuck really quickly and now it doesn't do up at all and is useless. Can anyone recommend a decent glue to repair it? I know that with some plastics some glue can melt them.

Wow that's strange. I'd not try any home repair, that would void your warranty. I'd think contacting Headway directly would be the best bet, maybe they'll even give you a new unit.

Interesting. Same thing has happened to mine. Let me know what you find out. Perhaps we should shoot Gordon a msg to ask his advice.

I haven't run into this problem with mine. Obviously a weak point in the design, since most folks want to (over)tighten this thing as much as possible to get more volume. That will stress the velcro. The pickup sounds great with a moderate tightness, you have to have some gain available to get the volume of the typical bridge mounted system a lot of folks are used to.

I may have over tightened a little, the velcro was coming unstuck from the day installed it though which was a bit suspect.
