bass cab that will work for guitar too

Bag End S15. Heck, they even market it to bass and guitar players. I've gigged mine with both instruments for the last decade, and my dad's been running an S15/S12 stack for guitar and bass for 35 years.

By me, you can find '70s Fender Bassman 2x15" cabs for a couple hundred bucks. They do pretty well for both, if you have the space for a big cab and don't overpower it on bass (I'd run no more than a 200 watt head and try not to go below low D). I bought mine from a guitarist, gigged it with bass, and sold it to another bassist. Then bought it back, gigged it some more and sold it to a guitarist. Then bought it back again, and sold it to a bassist.

Brought 2 rigs over to my dad's this past weekend. The GK 1001 and 215 are for me. The Traynor YBA 200 and 810 are for him. So far it sounds fantastic for guitar, but we've only run his acoustic through it. We'll be plugging a Les Paul into it this weekend and bringing up the gain. I'll update after this weekend's session.

Peavey VYPER VIP 1, 2, or 3, has input assignments for guitar or bass. Light and inexpensive. Also comes with limited effects and amp modeling.

Perhaps a TL606 cab? Like an older Mesa Diesel 1x15. It'll bring a heavvvvvvvvy sound with guitar and work great with bass. I'd def like to try a Bag End s15 with both some day, ive always been interested in that cab but never had the chance to demo.

I played guitar through a 800 watt bass amp and a pair of modern 12s this week. It was LOUD and full bodied - needed a pedal for the distortion. So I would suggest you look at modern 12's or 10's cabs.

I've used my shroeder 410R and GK 700-rb ii on guitar and got lots of compliments on my tone. I was going for a super clean sound though

A vintage Ampeg B25B cab sounds great for guitar and bass - if it still has the original CTS or Eminence speakers. I put a pair of modern full range eminence drivers in mine so I would not blow the originals - and it still sounds great. These cabs can be found cheap. There is one on Guitar Center's website for less then $200 now - of course I have no idea what condition it is in.

I have a guitar head that I like the sound of, with bass and guitar. I need a cab that will handle bass, but also not sound bad with guitar. Are there options for a guy like me?

Any bass cab that doesn't have a tweeter. Sealed cabs will work especially well.

My Ampeg SVT-15 (single 15" driver) sounds quite nice with guitar.

One of those vertical Ampeg sealed 2x10 cabs would do nicely as well.

I use 2 Acme B1's, a Line 6 POD, and the PLX 1602 from my bass rig. I can play a set each and the Acme sound great for both.
