Bass choice/tone, Paramore's "Ain't it fun"

Yes that's Jeremy on Gibson G3's on Self-Titled about 95% of the time. I had him on a P-bass once, I think. We worked long and hard pre-producing all his parts, tones and approaches. Was a pleasure to give his excellent bass playing a real opportunity to shine on that LP.

Thanks for confirming, Justin. Love this record! Also loved After Laughter, too.
Funny enough I ran into the band after I performed at the North Dakota State Fair a few years back when they were performing in Minot. One small airport! I told Taylor how much I dug the new record and the direction they were going as a band.

Funny, this song came on my phone/ shuffle this morning (1 of 9,200) and I thought it would be a fun cover.

Agree with your mid forward assessment. I looked at your gear profile and no question you could pull this off. I'm Fodera 5/ SWR and I would push the mids and high mids and play with fingers closer to the bridge (lousy with a pick). I usually dial in my high freq. horn just enough to be audible so would boost treble on the bass itself.
