Come on admit it; you secretly want to build a mega bad tube amp!
I realize that it would be a potentialy lousy business proposition though

Oh....I have NO problem admitting it. I want one for sure. We just have to be careful as to where we focus our limited resources in design and being able to bring product to market.

We have all kinds of product we can "introduce" now. But, we have a business model of NOT introducing product until it is ready to ship!

we've actually worked on it. But I agree, the market would be limited. We were looking at it more as a "brand positioning" piece.

The D class side of things is so competitive though, so I back-burnered our work on the tube amp. ...we need to focus on light weight stuff at the moment.

I still plug into an awful lot of tube amps though.

This is where it's at.
I just can't justify hauling that heavy stuff anymore.
The class D stuff is just too good IMO.

I'll put it this way...I certainly don't think I'm cheating the audience if I don't bring a tube amp...the small amps are perfectly capable (although sometimes I think the cabs have gotten a little TOO small), but I can't not use them anymore. I'd go see you play no matter what you used, though.
