Bass Hum - MXR Envelope Filter

Hello,

I started noticing that I was getting a hum in my bass amp(SVT Pro). My geddy lee fender jazz bass is fairly new so I kind of freaked out a bit.

I tested out different cables to make sure that wasn't the issue and then the pedals. I noticed that when my MXR Envelope Filter was connected, it would make my bass amp hum.

Is there anything I can do to possibly get rid of the humming? I'd appreciate the help, especially if I have to avoid sending it in for repair, hehe. ;)

It might be the pickups. I know after I replaced the pickups on my stock MIM jazz bass with dimarzio model js any hum I had disappeared. AFAIK the geddy has noiseless pickups, but I can't remember. Noiseless or not single coils like to hum with certain pedals. Try another bass if ya have one, and if it's not a jbass. Hope that helps.
