Bass inspired name for a dog.

Geddy is a good cat name. It sounds vaguely like kitty. I named mine that.
Had a Pomeranian (not by choice) I named Hamilton from Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith.
Had a chinchilla I named Colonel Claypool.
If Jack Russel, I'd go Pino or Jaco.
If Boxer I'd go Lemmy or Bootsy.
If I were going ironic I'd go Tweeter. (especially if a boxer)

How could it be anything else? High Pass Filter just doesn't cut it...
Name a dog one syllable, or two at most. Unless it will never be trained for anything more than house training. Then name it the Gettysburg Address because it won’t need to know anything but the tone of your voice.
