Bass New Year's Resolutions?

To fix my technique so my DeQuervain's Syndrome doesn't block my ability to play as much as I want to.

I'm going to try and sell all my basses except my '75 RI Jazz. It'll be tough letting go of old stuff though.

To walk PAST the equiment section in the music store, to the BOOK section.

I should do that too...

Mine is really just to play out more this year. Feeling real good about 2009, the band I'm working with right now has one rough song online w/no vox, and we already got an offer to open for a pretty good sized metal show at one of the biggest venues (for my genre) in the state.

I can't really go into specifics because I don't have them yet, but I plan on making this entire year about bass.
I have more goals then resolutions...
My only real resolutions are:
I will get a bass teacher after march.
I will REALLY practice for at least three hours every day, plus all the other bass playing I will do.

Resolutions?
As a Player:
Improve my right hand 3 finger technique, and start on 4 fingers
Start playing the upright more
Learn to play Harmonica and Mandocello(properly)

As a gear addict:
Get a Bassman 300pro and EBS classic 410 or 212
Begin saving for an 8-string (octaves string) bass or Bass VI clone
Take medication to reduce bloating caused by chronic GAS
