Routed out my MDF electronic cavity templates, and glued up and clamped the cocobolo/black fiber fretboard (only one black lam, not the quad-lam idea. next bass, maybe.) While waiting for epoxy to cure, did a little more shaping. Slow and steady.

Making the edge curves flow together coherently, while making just the right amount of middle lams show, is time consuming and extremely fun. Kinda reminds me of how my friend erik does surfboard rails: Link Removed

Haha, yeah, it's really tiny. The weight feels nice though, not too light, with all the cocobolo.
