Bass Octave

Hi,

Any suggestion on different settion on a BOSS super octave OC3 pedal.

I play fretless and trying to get a sound similar to Pino Palladino on 'Everytime you go away'

I'm new to this effect so getting to grips with what it can do..

a good starting point would be the oc 2 mode. i believe he used an original oc2 to record that

I don't hear an octave on the bass on that song. I know he uses it on "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down" but "Every Time You Go Away" sounds like a pretty clean fretless.
