Bass Overdrive, what pedal?

There a a lot of god overdrives as other have already mentioned.
I highly recommend the Fulltone Bassdrive and the Xotic BB Preamp even more.

If you like the Tube Screamer overdrives, these are great bass alternatives. The BB preserves your low end better and is smaller.

Dialing in bass overdrive can be tricky, because grit pedals can sound like too much or way too little depending on the sonic room your bandmates are leaving you. I play in multiple bands and do sub work, and I find some pedals that I've used a lot in one band just never mesh with the next group.

Consequently, I favor overdrive pedals that either have fairly extensive controls (e.g., Sans Amp VT), that have a blend feature (a la the Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive), or that get used with a blend pedal (e.g, Barge's VFB-2 or VB-jr).
