I compared these two pedals, here's how they sound.

I really liked these joyo clones. I had three of them at one point. Actually used the American and Cali on my board for a short bit. I came to find though, the way I set mine, as a heavy dist, it was super loud. Like I couldn't even use it at a gig level volume. Sounded great for the price and I bet it would be awesome in many instances. But for me, at high gain giggling volume levels, I just couldn't use them. And high gain. Great pedals otherwise though.

These are also really good pedals to experiment with modding on. Especially the actual enclosure. I sanded and repainted all my joyo pedals haha ended up looking pretty cool imo
