Bass pick-ups

I have a reissue Fender Jaco bass (not the ditressed one) and I'd like hotter pick-ups. Any suggestions?

leave it alone and get a regular f-less sunburst jazz and back it full of active goodness. dont butcher the sig model

Lindy Fralins are good pickups for Jazz. I have them on my CIJ 62 RI - they sound amazing.

Do a search in the Pickups section maybe?

if you want hotter try duncan 1/4lb's. I put them on my J V and have been very happy w/ them . . .

I'm not looking for active electronics rather for some more sensitve p/ups that drop in place. Even Jaco played around with his pickups. I love the sweet tone from this bass-I just want to bring more of it out.

I've heard of folks changing the capacitor to up the output.
It's dirst cheap & easily reversed.
