I do remember those days. I had one of those one-eye things going on. You know, bangs shootin down over one eye with random spikeyness here and there...oh god...i'm so embarrased now

Russell Brand is a comedian? Can't tell by his horrible job hosting the VMA's. The only thing his scalp released that night was flopsweat.
well he didnt do so bad. he has an art to his stand up much like Paton Oswald. Not in the sense that they have the same style but in the sense that Paton Oswald only appeals to certain people and could never host the VMAs.

Maybe the guy wasn't in his element at the VMA's so I might be willing to give him a chance to see what he does on his own. But my first impression wasn't a good one.
BTW, just to continue on hijacking this thread and talk about me instead of our gracious host, I went to the doctor for my shoulder today. It got much worse last week and I was popping ibuprofen like M&M's to keep the headaches down. Well, it turns it out it's just simple muscle spasms, so I have to take prednisone (yecch!) and happy pills for a week. I still probably won't be able to handle Jazz Basses anymore unless I get a $3500 7 lb. Alleva Coppolo WonderJazz, but I hope to be playing a regular Precision again soon.

Ya, well you're talking about a spasm that's in an area located very close to the brain and spinal column. I used to get migraines when I was a kid, and the headaches I got from this spasm were just as intense. But I think the shoulder thing and this spasm I've been getting were sort of unrelated, because it's more in my neck. Now that the pain has subsided, I can feel a knot in my neck that I never had before. Before, I was feeling it radiating all through the head/neck/shoulder, so I thought it was related. yeah if its not natural i dont like to do it. like i dont even smoke cigs anymore because of the unnaturalness of it. the only unnatural thing i have done is LSD but i mean come on its LSD
Let's keep this thread on point; I'd rather not have anything in here shaded or misconstrued towards condoning any sort of drug use, please.

It just goes on a shelf, I guess. I think my wife has a plan, but it's not a biggie. Maybe we'll get serious about archiving press stuff in the next 20 years.
