Bass Playing Online

Good day all.

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong board so feel free to move to correct location but I couldnt see where this topic may go.

But here goes.

I am a newbie of 1 year or so and with young kids dont always have the time to get out and Jam with friends as much as I would like.

So my question is what do people feel about Jamming online with friends/strangers and which sites to use and do they actually work??

Any feedback would be great.

The only site I know of is Bandhub.com.

I actually thought the site was shut down sometime late last year due to lack of funding and staff (received emails from the site explaining their situation and requesting financial assistance), but the site still seems to be up and working when I go there, now. I haven't actually broadcast/recorded anything on the site before, but I've watched a few videos in the past and it seemed legit at the time.

Might be worth further research.
