Bass PODxt/Laptop/Home Stereo setup...

I'm thinking of setting up a relativly portable recording rig using my Bass PODxt and a laptop for recording. The problem I have is that w/ latency issues: monitoring w/ the laptop, even w/ good speakers, would suck. Especially considering that I would want to run a software drum machine. Nothing would match up :(

My solution to this, as of now, would be to use my stereo as a PA of sorts, as I do now. The signal chain would be:

I would record via usb, w/o monitoring, and use the mixer to mix  the output of the POD with the drum machine from the laptop. The stereo would then allow me to hear this mix, and play in time w/ the drum machine.

I was thinking of using this as the mixer:

Thoughts/Suggestions????

Thanks in advance! :D
