Bass Preamp

Hi,
I would like to know your opinion about a preamp(Analogic), affordable, good and portable.
It is to use through the amps that don't give me the sound I desire, however, is important to keep the original sound, I mean, a litlle more fat or middle range is ok, but it is still my bass. I had one that changed completly, it seemed another bass.

Thanks.

You're right but, people there Will talk about amps or pedals.

I need something like neve, Focusright etc. I mean, similar but affordable.

It's for live performance and recording as well.

I have a SVT II, But When I go on tour, is impossible, too heavy

Thanks for reply.

IMHO , if you go through an amp that you don't like the sound , a different preamp will not change a lot.
Speaker/cab has a lot more to do than the preamp.

You're right,
Gallien Krueger usually appears, which is not bad, but has a little nasal sound. There is always the possibility use flat mode and try to improve. If it has a direct out for PA, even better! It can also help me boost my recordings in my home studio

Thank you.

You want to just use a preamp to go direct into a mixer and use stage monitors or in ears with no amp on stage? If so what's your budget. I love my LA610 solo for bass but it's $800.

I always use cabinets and monitors! I even take care to check the phase, because i like to feel the air pressure:)
I'm going to google it, and consider the possibilities.
Sorry my english I appreciated your patience.

Thank you.
